PF Flyers Box Cut Center Hi
For spring 2010, PF Flyers is changing the design of the standard Center Hi (which has been around since 1953!) with the new Box Cut Center Hi. It is basically the same, but has that little stripe (upside down chevron) at the ankle. What’s cool is that the stripe is ballistic nylon that peeks out from underneath, and that allows you to fold it down, wearing it as a low or hi-top. The upper is made out of canvas, but no word on whether PF is totally animal free. It’s available in three colors: grey/orange, navy/yellow, and beige/red. See pics below.
If you’re interested in the original Center-Hi, see below. These largely mirror the Converse Chuck Taylor, but have their own subtle differences, along with some unique colors and materials. These are my faves down here.
