Caught another Nike SB Stefan Janoski in canvas/stitched swoosh in all white. The blanket whiteness would be a little too much if it wasn’t offset by the blue piping and lacing.

FYI the piping around the side panel is leather. That’s why I’ve never bought this shoe in any of its canvas/fleece colour ways.
Sadly Nike SB and Janoski himself refuse to comment on the status of the leather, or change their ways for vegans. So until then I will just assume the worst. Maybe you can have a little luck with their PR department? SB division seems to be some black ops mission in the Nike Empire.

Are you sure about that? I emailed with someone who bought the mid black/red and said that there was no sign of leather. Do you have some information that can prove otherwise?

Many outlets report the piping being leather. It’s a specular, textured material, widely reported as leather by stockists and never has been reported as synthetic. It’s not synthetic until proven leather.
