Beyond Skin, a high end ladies’ vegan shoe label, teamed up with PETA earlier this year to sponsor a design competition for the next big model in their lineup. Just in time for your fancy New Year’s party, the winning shoe is now available for the masses.
The Alice, named in honor of its designer, fashion student Alice Lambert-Gorwyn, can be seen above. Alice’s shoe is handmade in Spain from 100% vegan microfiber suede and a faux-reptile-print polyurethane – both sourced from Italy. Even better, 10% of the pre-tax profits from each sale will be donated to PETA’s campaigns for animals.
The Alice is available at Beyond Skin, starting December 22. If the Alice isn’t your style, they’ll be having a big sale on Christmas Eve, so check them out next week!
